Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Unikbiz ("we", "us") governing your use of the Unikbiz website (unikbiz.com), mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract. If you use Unikbiz on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date, including business and GST details where applicable.
• Notify us immediately at support@unikbiz.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and payment

• Parts of the Platform are free; premium features require a paid plan billed monthly or yearly in Indian Rupees.
• Prices are shown before checkout and may change; changes apply from your next billing cycle after notice.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which provides a 14-day refund window.
• Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to those stores' payment and refund terms.

5. Marketplace, RFQs, and transactions between users

Unikbiz enables discovery and communication between buyers and sellers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the contract of sale for any product or service listed on the Platform is between the buyer and the seller. We are not a party to those transactions and do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of listed items. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for complying with applicable law, including tax (GST) and consumer-protection obligations.

6. Your content

• You retain ownership of the content you post (posts, listings, messages, media, reviews).
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Platform.
• You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to post it.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Post content that is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or obscene.
• List counterfeit, prohibited, or illegal products or services.
• Spam, scrape, or harvest data, or use bots or automated access without our written permission.
• Impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Interfere with the Platform's operation, attempt to bypass security, or reverse-engineer our software.
• Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial communications.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. AI features

The Platform includes AI-assisted features (for example content suggestions and translations). AI output can be inaccurate; review it before relying on it or publishing it. You are responsible for content you publish, including AI-assisted content.

9. Intellectual property

The Platform — including its software, design, logos, and trademarks — is owned by Unikbiz or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without written permission.

10. Third-party services

The Platform may link to or integrate third-party services (payment gateways, maps, external links posted by users). We are not responsible for third-party content or services; your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create legal exposure, or where required by law. Sections that by nature survive termination (content licences for already-public content, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) survive.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unikbiz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or INR 5,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Unikbiz against claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Platform, your transactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of these Terms or the Platform.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
